Woodville, located west of Porterville, California is a small farming community in Tulare County and is served by Woodville Public Utility District. There are 2 groundwater drinking water sources, serving 480 connections for a community of 1,700 folks.
Our plan is to locate the new groundwater treatment plant building next to Well 3 adjacent to Ave 169 and Claremont Rd, as illustrated:

Nitrate groundwater contamination needs to be treated at Woodville Well 3. We have selected ion exchange for nitrate treatment in a centralized treatment facility; ion exchange is qualified as a ‘best available technology’ with well understood performance monitoring and maintenance requirements.
